Road Trip!!!!

The dining room where we had a great dinner and the best home made pancakes for breakfast!

After breakfast, we went to walk around town.

The whole town was very cool. Lots of restored historic buildings.

We came upon this plaque marking where Jack McCall, the man who shot "Wild Bill" Hickok on August 2, 1876 was captured.

The outside of the Bullock Hotel. It was the first hotel built in "modern" Deadwood. It was built in 1895 by the first sheriff of Deadwood, Seth Bullock.

The lobby of the Bullock Hotel. There were lots of places to gamble in town.

Bill was the big winner! He won 2191 nickels. It came out to $109.55!

We took this especially for Kris' sister. Hi Laura!

It rained pretty hard while we were gambling. Once it slowed to a sprinkle, we went to our first site of the day, the Mt. Moriah Cemetery. At Mt. Moriah, you parked your car and walked in to the cemetery.

Mt. Moriah is where "Wild Bill" Hickok is buried.

We were surprised "Calamity Jane" was buried beside him. We thought her dying request was sweet, "Bury me beside Wild Bill."
