Since we were in group 2, we got to see the puppies!

They were so tiny. They hadn't even opened their eyes yet.

So cute!

Their mom was very worried!

This dog was HUGE! He was just hanging around. I think he was a retired champion sled dog.

After the puppies they showed us what kind of gear they take on an Iditarod race.

Next he showed us what gear they bring for the dogs. The dogs can keep themselves warm but it uses too many calories so they put clothing on them at night. Here, he has on leggings, shoes and shoulder protection.

Now he's added a jacket and special "boy" protection.
