The whale tour part of our day was over. Next we were going on a brown bear search.

We took a bus and then a short hike through this bog.

It was surprisingly deep. They had a stick that mesured it over 7 feet deep! We were warned to stay on the path.

It was early in the season for bears. We talked to someone who had just been on the brown bear tour and they didn't see anything but she said it was a beautiful hike.

It was beautiful!

They had 3 observation decks where the tours would stop and look for bears.
