We turned around to the other side of the island and there was a baby moose standing on the shore.

The mom moose is standing close behind, making sure we don't do anything.

That baby didn't move one muscle.

The mom finally called the baby back to her and they walked away. It was there for a long time!

You can see how shallow the water is in places. This log is sitting on the bottom.

When we started to head back, we passed by the first moose we saw. She was still laying down. You can see her to the right of the green tree.
