The forest was beautiful.

When we got to the 3rd viewing station a woman asked, "What is that?" It was a brown bear WAY off in the distance!

He was walking toward us very slowly.

He'd stop to eat or stop and sit or lay down every once in a while.

He never got all that close but we got some good shots.

Our timr ran out so we hiked back to the bus.

Back in Hoonah. We had to have some Alaskan crab.

They had the biggest ravens we've ever seen! This one was pulling full bags of trash out of the trashcan. One of our guides said a raven could give some of the eagles a run for their money.
