Off again! This time I was in front of Bill instead of 2 people behind him.

We stopped again at the Rabbit Ears Pass Monument.

RABBIT EARS PASS
Across Continental Divide Between
North Park and the Yampa River
Altitude 9.680 Feet
Named from Rabbit Ears Peak Which
was so Called by Earliest Trappers
Because of it's Appearance
Improved Highway Opened 1919.

We walked around a bit before we got back on the trail again.

We went to a meadow where we could go as fast as we could for a while and then back to the trails.

CRASH! Bill was nice enough to wait until I crawled out from underneath the snowmobile to take the picture. I got a bit off the trail and rolled it over.

Everyone's OK. Back on the trail! For the rest of the day we went to get fitted for our ski stuff and then we went to dinner. We had a great time snowmobiling.

Day 2: Our first day of skiing.

We've never skied before so we took lessons.

Lunch break.

Bill had chili.

We learned the basics for the rest of the day. We even went up the ski lift a few times. It was fun!
