Day 7: Sadly, last day. Today we're going to take a proper tour of the Queen Mary. We have the self-guided tour map. We started out after breakfast. |
The Spruce Goose Dome. It was built in 1983 to house the Spruce Goose. Once that was moved in 1992 it became a sound stage where they filmed movies including as Batman Forever and AI: Artificial Intelligence. Now it's a cruise terminal for Carnival Ships. |
I liked the old-fashioned life boats. |

The 3 smokestacks are 36 feet tall and 23.3 feet wide. |
Next to the Queen Mary was the "Scorpion." A Foxtrot-Class Russian submarine. We were bummed we ran out of time to do a tour. |
