Cecil B. DeMille had a family plot. DeMille shot the first full-length movie in Hollywood and founded Paramount Pictures. |
F. Shannon Fenady was a segment producer for TV specials such as "When Animals Attack 3" and "Oops! The World's Funniest Outtakes 4." I like the enscription on his headstone. |

A memorial to Hattie McDaniel. When she passed away in 1952 her last wish was to be buried in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery but laws prohibited it. In 1999 her family and Hollywood Forever Cemetery wanted to make it right but didn't want to mover her remains so they dedicated this memorial pillar. |
We didn't go in to the mausoleums. They were locked. They had the Dia de los Muertos party the night before and the staff was cleaning. On our way out, we saw peacocks walking around! |
