They aged and dirtied the building walls in the alley to make it look like it's in a bad neighborhood. |
Wood shop! Look at all the vises! |
The wood shop was massive! |
They were building the apartment set for Scott Baio's new series "See Dad Run." |
Special EFX/Prop Shop. |
This was the cool EFX shop. The cars! Where they rigged them to flip over or blow up or whatever they needed them to do for the shot. |
Next building! |
Headed up to the Sign Department! |
I SO wanted to work here! They made signs for TV shows and movies, as you see on the wall for "Glee." They also printed posters that are sent out to theaters. |
They could also print out 3D signs like these plaques that go on the bridges on the various Enterprises. Depending how you painted them, they could also look like wood. |
Lots of trailers. Most of the ones we saw were leased by Star Waggons. It was founded by Lyle Waggoner. |
Stage 17. Some of the movies and TV shows shot here are: Road to Rio (1947), Sunset Boulevard (1950), Bonanza (1959-1973), Mommie Dearest (1981), Ghost (1990), The Addams Family (1991), Indecent Propsal (1993), Angel (199-2004), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011), Happy Endings (2011- ) |
We were supposed to go in and see the set but it was locked. |
So, we moved on. |
