California Trip '12

While we were driving by Bill took these super-secret photos of the set of American Horror Story: Asylum. |
Here's a wider shot. We can see rails in the tunnel part. It's hard to tell what part of the set this is. |
When we passed the parking lot, Bill saw Evan Peters. I only saw his back. We passed by too quickly for a photo. |
The tour included lunch. It was nice sitting outside. |
After lunch we checked and the Paramount Theater was open! |
Whoever was screening "Flight" was done. |
It was super nice plus they had video and audio controls at the back of the theater. |
Nice! |
When we passed the parking lot we noticed the valets were triple-parking the cars. We knew we were never getting our car out. Oh well. We'd have to stay. |
Stage 29. Movies and TV shows filmed there include Mission: Impossible (1966-1973), The Godfather Part II (1974), Scrooged (1988), Star Trek: Generations (1994), Star Trek: First Contact (1996), Dr. Phil (2002- ) |
We went inside Stage 29 to see Dr. Phil's studio! |
It was surprisingly big. |
