We spent the night in Chatanooga. We found this hotel called the Chatanooga Choo Choo. It was basically a train yard that was taken over by Holiday Inn. They turned the train cars in to rooms. |

Here's the other half of the room. With the day bed and trundle, it could sleep 4 people. |

The hallway that leads to the door and bathroom. | |
This sign on the wall cracked us up. It says that they've done their best to soundproof the cars but they wanted us to "be aware that, in spite of all efforts to totally soundproof each parlor, sound is conveyed through the metal structure of the rain." |

The restaurant and lobby were a converted old train station. This is the restaurant. |

The entrance of the lobby. |

It had a lot of arches. It was a very cool building. |

This is the restaurant where we ate dinner. It was the home of the World Famous Singing Servers. They were nice enough to let us in right before the kitchen closed. We were one of two couples in the restaurant and the other couple was done eating. There was a band playing background music and then each waitress got up on stage to sing us a song. It was a really great night. We gave our waitress a really good tip and she got up and dedicated a song to us. We also both got hugs and handshakes. |
