This black and silver hydrant in a memorial to the 343 New York City Firefighters who died on September 11th.

Our next stop was the Forbidden Gardens in Katy, Texas.

This is a cloud statue. There are two of them in the Forbidden City in China. The spirits of the cloud statues were there basically to call on the Emperor not to be distracted and forget about his people.

There were more people there than we expected. The place was a kind of hidden in a residential area.

A terra-cotta horse statue by the Koi pond.

The Koi pond and entrance was very serene.

A terra-cotta warrior with his horse stand under a tree by the pond.

When we walked up we thought, oh, cool, look at the turtle.

We looked around and we saw no less than 20 turtles swimming towards us.

Lots of Koi headed our way too. We found out later that you could buy food to feed the turtles and fish.

We could see more terra-cotta warriors through the trees.

Bill with one of the statues inside the square. We had to wait about a half hour for our tour to start.
