Late flight
Our flight was late in the afternoon. We left a couple of days early for the cruise. We had no plans. We were just going to wing it.
Graceland Trip
This year is the 10th anniversary of Kris losing her Dad. Dad LOVED Elvis. He even had a pink Cadillac when he was in high school. We used to listen to listen to Elvis when we were little and watch all of his movies when they came on TV. We thought it would be nice to celebrate Dad's life by going to Graceland in style!
Frozen
The ground looked more and more like a sheet of ice the closer we got to Ivalo.
Cool sunrise
It was so pretty it didn't even look real. It looked more like a painting. This is our last glimpse of the sun for the next month.
Taking off!
Headed to Ivalo!
Laundry!!
Our laundry is back!
McDonald's!!!
We had some trouble in the first few days finding food we liked. I think because we were in the country. We ran in to things like tripe and pig’s ears. We were very happy to see a sign for McDonald’s.
Tunnel!
We were excited every time we saw a tunnel. This time a tunnel and a windmill!!!
Town with a church
Well, every town had a HUGE church, we could just see this one as we came in to town since it was up on the hill.
Farms close-up
I just liked the different farms. The rain looks cool too.
Day 6: View
One last look out of our hotel window before we hit the road.
Pretty!
