We stopped at the Christ of Havana statue. It was that big one we saw as the ship was pulling in to port. You can see, the sign says it's made of Carrera marble imported from Italy. It was blessed by the XII Pope before it was shipped and blessed by Cardinal Manuel Arleaga when it arrived in Havana. It's located 51 meters above sea level and is 20 meters high. It's formed by 77 pieces that all weigh 320 tons.
