The whole reason for the road trip was the Rob Thomas concert in San Antonio. It was at the very cool Majstic Theater.

The Admiral Nimitz Museum was originally the Nimitz Hotel, builty by Nimitz's Grandfather, Charles Henry Nimitz, Sr.
The Nimitz family is from Fredericksburg. The Admiral Nimitz Museum and Pacific War Museum is on Main St.
A very pretty bird! He was in one of the shade gardens.
I think this is a small butterfly bush growing behind the fence. It's very pretty!
We walked a little farther back and they had beds all ready for planting.

It's hard to read the tail of the windmill but this is a classic Chicago Aermotor Windmill.
It's too bad it's so toxic. It's a very pretty bush!
