Today we're heading out to Barcelona!
Day 6: View
One last look out of our hotel window before we hit the road.

Christmas lights
The trees were pretty all lit up with Christmas lights.

Long way down!
We were really high up!
Nice view!
There was a fantastic view of the farms below. You can see the fires the frmers are burning too. Normal for Spain we figured out by now.
Very cool
The turret was very cool, kind of a ruin. You can see some of it is missing and it's cracked.
Turret
The stairs led to another path which led to the turret at the end of the parking lot! They were really nice, wooded trails with seating so you could stop and enjoy when you wanted.
Stone staircase
We walked around the trail until we came to this very old stone staircase. Of course, we had to go up!
Parador garden
About halfway up the hill we took a dirt trail. It led to a garden. Sadly, it seemed like it wasn't well taken care of. There was graffiti and the fountain was a bit broken. The trail was nice though.
End of the tour
A nice shot of the Parador from one of the towers at the end of the tour.
Alcaniz Castle
After breakfast we bought tickets to take a tour of the chapel and cloister part of the parador.

Starting Day 5 with a selfie!
Bar
We went to the bar to have for dinner.
Fireplace
On the way to our room there was part of the castle wall with a fireplace poking out of the modern wall. It was pretty neat!
