Tile
A cole-up of the tiles on the archway.
Heaven above
The mural with Hell below had Heaven above but it was mostly worn away. You could mostly just see their legs.
Hell
A mural of Hell reminding people to be pious or else! You can see the different stages of Hell and the flames at the bottom.
Blessing
The hand at the top of the arch is always blessing anyone who enters.
Raspberries
They're not sure if this is ancient grafitti but he's drawn to the right of the entrance, blowing raspberries to all who enter.
Murals
Another shot of the battle mural and you can see the "Last Supper" mural to the right.
Cool door!
Kind of like the tiny door in the Parador. I think this one was a bit taller, but not by much!
Sepulchre of Juan de Lanuza
The tomb of Juan de Lanuza, viceroy of Aragon and greater commander of Alcaniz. Built in alabaster by the sculptor Damián Forment between 1535 and 1537.
Offset window
It's not how the photo was shot, the window isn't in the center of the wall.
Faces
I love faces in gothis churches and, like here, old cloisters.
Monster
A monster by the door.
Religious mural
You can see, among other things, the Crucifiction and the Last Supper depicted in the mural. They date back to the 14th century.
Just inside the doors
We gathered just inside the door. The tour was in English and Spanish. You can see the crosses on the arch. There are other beautiful designs that are easier to see if you click on the image to make it larger.
