Christmas in Finland
We left home on December 11, 2016 for Finland and came home on January 4th. The entire time we were about 200 miles North of the Arctic Circle. We stayed at the Nellim Wilderness Lodge, Sarmi Cabin and Muotkan Maja Wilderness Lodge. We had a GREAT time! Note: I'm posting pages as I finish them. This is only partially done.

Day 0
It was a dilemma for me how to water my plants while we were away. Our dogsitter doesn't always remember. This was my solution.

Day 1
We arrive in Helsinki and spend the night in a hotel that used to be a prison. It was very cool!

Day 2
Morning flight from Helsinki to Ivalo, 250kn (about 156 miles) North of the Arctic Circle. From there we drove North to our lodge in Nellim!

Day 3
Dogsledding day! Hoo boy was it cold! My eyelashes have icicles on them! At night, aurora camp.
