Fredericksburg

We had tickets to see Rob Thomas at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio on July 11th. We decided to go on a mini road trip to get there. We left on Friday morning, took back roads, went to antique shops, saw oddities and wildflowers, stayed at the Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg and made it to the concert Saturday night.

Neat plane!

The plane was so cool! You couldn't get inside but you could walk all around it.

I've seen older photos of this same plane and it's been restored very well. It was kind of a wreck before.

I couldn't find this seal anywhere. It's not the seal of Texas. It must be military but I couldn't find it.

On Saturday we went back to Wildseed Farms to check out the gardens.

It's too bad it's so toxic. It's a very pretty bush!

It's hard to read the tail of the windmill but this is a classic Chicago Aermotor Windmill.
