Fredericksburg

We had tickets to see Rob Thomas at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio on July 11th. We decided to go on a mini road trip to get there. We left on Friday morning, took back roads, went to antique shops, saw oddities and wildflowers, stayed at the Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg and made it to the concert Saturday night.

Bathroom

Everything in the hotel was decorated retro. It was very cool!

We didn't get to eat at the Airport Diner but I saw photos and it was very cool retro.

After we got settled in our room we went down to the Officer's Club for a drink.

Bill had a beer and they gave me the biggest rum and Coke I've ever had!

The Officer's Club was so cool! We were loving the WWII retro look of everything.
Slept like a baby

The airport being right in front of the hotel didn't other us at all. We barely heard any planes.
Airport diner

If we’d been there longer we would have eaten at the Airport Diner. It looked very cool in there.

1926 delivery truck. Very cool.

You can sit outside and watch the planes land.
Plane

We saw a few planes land and the people either got in to a parked car and left or they went in to our hotel. Neat!
