These little guys were all along the boardwalk. Most of them
were looking out to the ocean so you couldn't see the faces.
This one was looking at a sculpture. |

Another sculpture along the boardwalk. |

Looking down the boardwalk. |

The whole town waws set up for the Dies y Seiz de Septiembre
celebration. We missed the parade and huge party by two days. |
|
We came across this shop while walking downtown. We thought the
name was pretty funny. |
|
Take a look at Dad's stomach. One day he woke up and had these
"Zorro" stripes. He also had a spot on his knee (below).
We thought it were pretty funny that he put his sunscreen on
badly. |
|
The next day, his "stripes" were redder. After Mom
& Dad got home, they got even redder. Dad went to the doctor
to make sure nothing was wrong. The doctor took a look and said,
"lime juice and sun." If you remember way back on page 2, we were eating limes every
day on everything. Everyone has their own theories about how
he got the "Zorro" pattern on his stomach. |
|
The last day we got all packed up and checked out. Mom and Dad
went to the airport first. Our plane didn't take off for a few
more hours so we left our luggage with the bell captain, put
our swimsuits on in the bathroom by the pool, went swimming and
had some drinks before we left. |
|
Thi is what I call "bee face." We were in a cab
going about 60-70mph to the airport with the windows open. All
of a sudden, BAM! Something hit me in the face. I said "OW!"
then Bill said "OW!" I grabbed my face and Bill grabbed
his shoulder. A bee got sucked into the cab, hit me in the side
of my face (I was looking out the window). It ricoched off my
face and hit Bill in the shoulder. We don't know where it went
after that. It hurt! |
|
We made it to the airport, got all checked in and went
home. We had a really good, fun, relaxing vacation. |
