Egypt Trip

Luxor P.35

It is the largest hypostyle hall in the world.

It consists of 134 columns representing the papyrus flower.

It was built by King Seti I (1229 B.C.) and was completed by his son Ramses II (1225 B.C.) New Kingdom. We took more photos of the hypostyle hall. To see them, click HERE.

It was truly amazing! Bill took a video walking through the columns

Manal explaining some of the hieroglyphics.

You can see how the columns are shaped like papyrus flowers.

It was amazing how much paint is left.
