It is the largest hypostyle hall in the world. |
It consists of 134 columns representing the papyrus flower. |
It was built by King Seti I (1229 B.C.) and was completed by his son Ramses II (1225 B.C.) New Kingdom. We took more photos of the hypostyle hall. To see them, click HERE. |
