The statues have been standing for about 3400 years.

They used to stand at the entrance of Amenhotep's memorial temple.

The statues are all that's left now. Since it's so close to the Nile. Everything else has washed away.

We wanted to feed every dog we saw. Rootie tried to give this dog part of a Quaker Oats bar. The dog refused to eat it. It was pretty funny.
