To go to the Tomb of Mereruka.

The "tourist police" were everywhere.

Going in to the tomb, again, no cameras are allowed.

The Tomb of Mereruka is the largest in Saqqara. It's called the Mastaba of Mereruka because of the shape. It has 32 rooms.

The pyramid of Teti is right next to the Mastaba of Mereruka.

It's not much more than a hill now but you can go inside. No cameras allowed, again.

It was very hot in the pyramid.

Next we went to the step Pyramid of Djoser.

There used to be a wall enclosing the step pyramid complex. The only entrance is still standing.
