The next part of the park was Toon Lagoon. |
This is Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls. We saw people clear across the park that were still soaking wet from this ride. After the drop and splash, the flume went through the sprayers in front that soaked everyone and then another fall with a splash. |
The toon town was super cute. They sold Dagwood sandwiches here. |
An overall view down the street. |
The Betty Boop store. |
Cathy's Ice Cream. |
The next part of the park we came to was Super Hero Island |
This Captain America photo looked really cool. They also had one of Storm from the X-Men. |
Next, we rode the Spiderman ride. It was a 3-D motion -simulation ride. Spiderman jumped on the hood of our car. It was neat. I read they spent $200 million on the ride which would make it one of the most expensive rides built. |
Bill, waiting in line. |
Bill really liked these posters. |
The line went through the Daily Planet's offices. These posters were on the walls. |
Still waiting in line. We only really waited for about 30 minutes. It was the longest we waited for any ride for the whole weekend. |
Bill rode The Incredible Hulk Coaster. It goes from 0 to 40mph in 2 seconds! |
That night we went to Downtown Disney which has restaurants, shopping and Pleasure Island, a collection of several different style nightclubs. This dragon was outside the Lego toystore. It was in the water, had a long neck and several humps and it was all made of Legos. |
On Sunday morning, we started out early. The Ripley's Museum was next door to our hotel. It looked like the front of the building had cracked off and was crooked. |
