This cute little car was used in the film "Blue Hawaii" and was also part of Elvis' personal collection. In the mid 60s he gave the car to his secretary who later traded it at a car lot in Hollywood. A chef who worked on Elvis' movie, "Spinout." later bought the car and gave it to his daughter as a wedding gift.

I included this photo not to read about the car but because it was the best way to see that he also put his initials and his logo, "TCB," on the inside of the car as well. This was a very personalized car!

This car was built by the legendary "kustom" car designer George Barris in 1966. It was used in the movie "Easy Come, Easy Go" – it features surfboards as seatbacks, shag upholstery, a "Go-Go" buton on the dashboard, a meat thermometer temperature gauge and orange porch lamps. After the movie it was repurposed as the Jokermobile on the "Batman" TV series.

Elvis bought it in 1974. It was supposedly one of his favorite cars. THe interior has custom red leather seats and gold plated accents. This was the last car he drove through the gates of Graceland on the day he died.

We had a big tour group, we even had people that came from Germany just to tour Graceland.
This was the marker for Gladys' final resting place until she was moved from the cemetery to Graceland for security purposes.
