Ready for the tour!
Madeira
This is the second time we've been to Funchal, Madeira. We took a Christmas cruise in 2014 and this was one of the stops. We took a different tour but we stopped at the same winery.
Walking
Our last stop of the day was at the Madeira Wine Company. The bus parked and we had to walk a couple of blocks.
Free wifi
The winery also had free wifi so everyone caught up with texts and Facebook in the short time we were there. Cruise internet is SO expensive!
Wine samples
We got a free sample of the sweet wine and a coupon for a sample of the dry. They were both good! We drank them and watched this girl restore the wall murals.
Same picture
I think we took this same picture when we stopped here at Christmas.
Leaving
Our tourgroup is heading out!
Cabo Girao Panoramic
A panoramic photo from Cabo Girao before we had to leave.
Cabo Girao Selfie
We made a girl move so we could get a pic of us in front of the cliffs.
The photographer
Be careful not to drop the camera!
See-through floor
The platform was plexiglass. You can see it had little white dots on it. I think the clear glass was too much for some people.
580 Meters
It says in several languages, "You are standing 580 meters above sea level."
Cross with ocean
I couldn't decide which picture of the cross I liked better, with the city behind it or the ocean, so I included both.
