This is the first trip that both of us had our own cameras so, as you can imagine, we took a LOT of photos!

We stayed at the Parador de Cuenca. It is the renovated Convent of Saint Paul, built in the 16th century.
We headed out toward Cuenca, taking a million photos along the way.

There are giant stones everywhere. Very cool! This starcase leads to a parking lot. We got lucky and parked right in front of the hotel.

We stayed at the Parador de Cuenca. It was the restored Convent of Saint Paul.
Cuenca looked so beautiful we couldn't wait to see it tomorrow!
You'll see as we drove through Spain the landscapes change from desert to lush vegetation.
We had a new GPS app and were having trouble using it so we pulled off next to a hospital to try to make it work. This was some of the parking for the hospital. It was strange. Also, a dead end. A lot of cars turned this way and then had to figure out how to get out.
