Shops
There were shops at lunch but we didn't look around too much. It was mostly t-shirts and rum.
This is the street outside of Fusterlandia proper. You can see the facades are tiled all the way down the street.

Some of the people on our tour, including Bill and I, were sick. Our guide recommended ginger candies they were selling on one of the tables, they were good for sore throats. We bought some. They really helped! We ate them for the next several days.
There was a store selling "fossils" there. Curiously, all the fossils looked almost exactly alike. We think they were made of concrete. One guy said he would trade a big "fossil" for Bill's sunglasses. I told him he should have taken the deal. Bill didn't want to carry it.

We finally got to the part Bill and I were looking forward to. This was why we picked the Marrakesh excursion. As soon as the bus stopped, our tour guide said to be carefulout there! As soon as we step off the bus we'll be a target. People WILL try to steal our wallets, our cameras, anything we have. Do NOT leave the square. Some people followed a local off the square and it didn't end well. We wary of everyone. Then he said we're supposed to be there for 20 minutes but as a treat he's going to give us 40 minutes. Have fun! Yeah. That set a good tone!

If we hadn't walked back this way we would have missed the Christmas decorations and the statue entirely!
