The hallways formed a square around a really pretty atrium.
I loved the artwork they had in every hallway.
We hadn't had time to walk around the hotel so when we finished the day we walked around and took pictures.
Our hotel, from the bridge!
That must have been a farm down there in the gorge. There was a rooster down there corwing constantly.
The Paradores are state-run hotels that are often in castles, palaces, fortresses, convents, monasteries and other historic buildings. The one in Cuenca is in a convent.
We stayed at the Parador de Cuenca. It is the renovated Convent of Saint Paul, built in the 16th century.
There are giant stones everywhere. Very cool! This starcase leads to a parking lot. We got lucky and parked right in front of the hotel.

Bill's selfie of the day!
We were so tired we ordered room service. We ordered pizza. After a long conversation about "Hake" and then a call back to tell them NOT to put Hake on the pizza (it's fish), we finally got our pizza. I wouldn't really call it pizza but we were really hungry.
Nice bathroom!

The sunset was too good not to take a bunch of photos!
