Video!
We took a video of part of the ride. To see it, click the photo or HERE.

Houses and gardens
We could see in to everyone's back yards. They had some nice gardens, great houses, we even saw some people drinking coffee on their porch.

Cable car
This is the way to get all the way down the mountain. It's a very long cable car ride over the tops of the houses.

Old olive trees
We walked past the toboggan baskets and saw these incredibly old olive trees. Neat!

They loaded the toboggans on to a truck and drove them back to the top!

Baskets end
We walked by the end of the basket ride. Where people were getting off the baskets.

Back to the toboggans
We were kinda going in circles.

Cool
There was a bit of a traffic jam but I like the picture of the toboggans and the drivers.

Cars!
Those cars also go on the road. They just kinda look out for the toboggans.

Video
Of course we took video. (Link does not work in thumbnail.)

Here we go!
The basket is pushed and steered by to men. The trip takes about 10 minutes to get down the mountain. It's about 2km long and the basket can go up to 48km/hour.

The toboggans!
We were not sure what to expect on the toboggans. We hadn't read anything about them but we were excited!

Swans!
I think they wanted us to feed them but everyone just took pictures.

Looking back
Our Lady of Monte at the top of the mountain.
