Beautiful!
This part of the ceiling looks like paintings, not tile.

Brilliance
Bahia means, "brilliance." It was meant to be the greatest palace of all time.

Beautiful tile!
The tiles at Bahia Palace were so old we weren't allowed to walk on a lot of it. You can see Bill on the other side of the building.

Pretty door
Entering the palace from the garden.

Orange trees
There were orange trees everywhere we went. Our guides pointed out the oranges were sour and not good to eat but they were good for bugs.

Bahia Palace
Our first stop was a tour of Bahia Palace.

Interesting walk
Just like our tour guide said, we had to duck out of the way when veiled ladies tried to put necklaces on us. We also were walking in the street, just like everyone else so we had to watch out for cars and mopeds. A nice old woman was walking next to me for a while until she stuck her hand out, looking for money. She walked with us for a while until she got the hint.

Shopping!
We didn't get to stop. We passed it while we were walking.

Horse and buggy
There were tons of hose and buggy drivers, especially in the square.

Off the bus
We had to walk a couple of blocks from the bus to our first stop. The tour guide told us not to let the veiled ladies put the necklaces on us. That's how they aggresively sold their necklaces.

La Mamounia
A SUPER fancy and famous hotel in Marrakech. Very nice!

Oasis
It looks a bit like an oasis in this shot.
