We got back to the tender at the last minute. Of course there were hundreds of people there. We had to wait a long time for the tenders to come get us.
They took us to a street where they had street vendors selling local wares. It was really good shopping because most of the wares were hand made, not typical tourist stuff.

They said that the relics of Christopher Columbus were supposedly housed in the cathedral from 1796 to 1898.

Also known as the Cathedral of The Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception, the cathedral was completed in 1777 by the Franciscans. It wasn't open. I'm not sure if that was because of the day of the week or the time, it was getting late.
