There were a few tombs along the walls. It was interesting. They all looked like they did in real life. They had different features, facial hair, rings, etc. Pretty neat!

As you face the Jamete Arch, to you back are these beautiful windows. The sun was streaming through these windows.
We started walking up to the main stained glass windows and the sun was beaming in perfectly. I've never seen sun coming in to a church's stained glass windows so beautifully.
He was instrumental in rebuilding the new bridge of San Pablo and he was instrumental in declaring the Cuenca Cathedral a National Monument. He died February 22, 1922. His was one of the few markers that was roped off.
We love checking out churches so we had to see the cathedral. We bought the self-guided tour. It was already beautiful right inside the door.
The Cathedral of Our Lady of Grace and Saint Julian was built from 1182 to 1270. We were definitely going inside.
