It was a LONG walk to the park and up a very steep hill!
We decided to make the day all Gaudi so we hopped off the bus at Park Güell. The stop was a few blocks away from the actual park.
They rushed you right off the platform so we did really well to get two pics!

Since it was Christmas they had a staircase so you could visit the statue of the Birth of Jesus. We stood in line. to see.

There are two tortoises at the base of columns on the Nativity facade. They represent the land and the sea. They are also symbols of time, as something set in stone and unchanging.
