I LOVED the houses.

Birds!
You can see a duck and some birds.

Tortoise column
There are two tortoises at the base of columns on the Nativity facade. They represent the land and the sea. They are also symbols of time, as something set in stone and unchanging.

One last picture
Of the inside, anyway.

Nave ceiling
Another shot of the ceiling.

Architecture
Everywhere you looked there was something to see. There was not one place, anywhere that was boring.

Chapel
Looking down through an arch in to one of the chapels.

Lots of pictures
Everything was so beautiful. We took TONS of photos. It was hard to choose which ones to post.

Hidden flowers
In addition to the large ceiling tiles that resemble flowers, there are small flowers that look like they're in vases above and to the left of the rose window.

Big columns
You can see how big the columns are with the people standing around. The church is huge!

Conch shell
All of Gaudi's designs were patterned after something in nature. The staircase was patterned after a conch shell.

Columns
Gaudi designed the columns to look like trees with branches.

Cool door.
We were looking for a certain part of town and, of course, we forgot our map so we took a shot and went left. If nothing else we saw some very cool buildings.
