Halloween '02

We went out intending to buy an outfit to go with an alien mask I bought last year. Well, we saw this costume and thought it was really cool.

It's called "Biomech Knight." This year, we're going to try to get some photos or video of the kids. Hopefully it'll work out!

Halloween Day, I wore my new Vulcan / elf ears. They turned out pretty good!

I left work early, sped home and changed in to my nighttime costume. I had to black out my eyes so they couldn't see them behind the mask.

Here I am, all dressed and ready for the trick-or-treaters!

We ended up buying a dreadlocks wig for the costume. It made it look more Predator-like and it made my head look more massive. I like how it turned out.

This little boy was really cute. He asked, "Are you scary?" and then said, "Thank you monster." after I gave him candy. Click on the photo or here for the movie (3.4 MB Quicktime movie)

This little girl was super cute. She was so tiny, dressed like a little giraffe. She didn't say anything. She just hid behind her Mom the whole time. Bill liked the way she kept telling her I was a nice monster. Click on the photo or here for the movie (3.6 MB Quicktime movie)

This little boy didn't say anything either. He kept trying to touch me, then he came in the house. I had no idea what he was going to do. Then he shook my hand. It was different. Click on the photo or here for the movie (3 MB Quicktime movie)

This one's a little long. There were 2 groups that came by, one after the other. The little girl at the door was scared and ran but then came back to hit me on the head when I gave her candy. You can't really see her hit me but there are a lot of screams and laughing in the video. It's pretty good. Click on the photo or here for the movie (2.8 MB Quicktime movie)
